The introduction of new sensor technology has transformed the feel, performance, and overall tune-ability of the new Axe ESC and Motor. This innovation, known as Field-oriented Control (FOC), is a groundbreaking technology in the scale trail, rock racing, and RC world in general. FOC allows extremely precise control and sensing of the motor while maintaining exceptional performance and reliability. The motor and ESC can match the RPM of the motor to your throttle position under all driving conditions, significantly improving downhill driving for precise control. FOC technology also makes the entire system exceptionally silent, eliminating the annoying PWM noise typically associated with running a motor.

Intelligent Torque Output & Speed Closed-loop Control for Easy Control

Beyond just being a new ESC and motor, the new FOC sensors, combined with Intelligent Torque output and closed-loop speed control, mean the ESC and motor will maintain the motor's torque level and RPM as the vehicle's conditions change. Uphill, downhill, under load – your Axe system will respond to your commands.

Battery Reverse Polarity Protection

The AXE FOC Crawler system incorporates a unique feature to protect your ESC from damage caused by Battery Reverse Polarity. No matter how many times you reverse the battery connections, the AXE ESC and the paired motor are safe from damage.

Applicable to All Weather & Track Conditions

The IP-67 waterproof rating has been elevated to a new level with the AXE System. A completely sealed ESC design with a robust heatsink case ensures that the ESC is ready for any challenges. The motor is also sealed and incorporates a completely new sensor harness, eliminating the need for messy extra steps to make your system waterproof.

Dual Running Mode

The AXE FOC Crawler system supports dual running modes: the classic "Forward and Reverse (rock crawler)" mode and the "Forward/Reverse with brake (normal)" mode, providing versatility to suit your application.

Professional Drag Brake Adjustments & Super Parking Capacity

Adjustable drag brake rate and tuning allow scalers to adjust not only the hill/hold/drag brake but also how quickly the brake applies. The drag brake is supercharged, capable of running at extremely high levels. Compared to a standard crawling brushless setup, the drag brake in the Axe System can be rated at 200% in comparison.

Built-in Bluetooth for Connecting the Mobile APP Directly

Built-in Bluetooth connectivity eliminates the need for extra devices. The ESC has Bluetooth built right in. Access the ESC's complete onboard programming using only your smartphone device and the free Hobbywing App from your App Store.

Easy Obtain AXE Running Status with Real-time Data Recording Function

Connect the HW Link cellphone APP to the ESC and open the real-time data recording function to check throttle, voltage, current, temperature, RPM, and other data in real-time. Easily obtain the running status of the ESC and motor.

Note: Due to Bluetooth transmission distance limitations, the effective distance is about 3m.

Super Internal BEC

The built-in switch mode BEC with a maximum output of 13A and voltage adjustable between 6V and 7.4V allows the use of various standard servos, high voltage servos, and other peripherals.
